When seven longtime friends escape the city for a low-key Fourth of July weekend at a remote lake house, all they want is a quiet escape from adulthood. Instead, they get: a runaway toddler, six hyperactive dogs, a forgotten wedding anniversary, an impromptu “dog wedding,” a suspicious neighbor, and one mysterious key that was lost and rediscovered.

As fireworks explode in the distance, their plans unravel in a whirlwind of dog barks, melted Bomb Pops, and fire-pit karaoke gone very wrong. These barely-functional adults must survive the ultimate test of friendship and figure out who actually brought the key to freedom.
